Program: OCTES Fertiliser Efficiency Projects
Reef Credit Projects with Algae Biostimulants
OCTES is an approved Project Proponent under the ENVOMARK Reef Credit Scheme, giving us full access to the modelling, registration, and audit pathways needed to bring high-quality projects to market.
This recognition from Eco-Markets Australia strengthens our work aggregating supply from commercial algae producers, canegrowers, and agronomists in the Great Barrier Reef catchment areas who are shifting to more efficient fertiliser systems and exploring algae-based biostimulants as part of their transition.
With auditors engaged and project tools now live, we are actively progressing projects. Each issued ENVOMARK Reef Credit corresponds to a verified reduction of one kilogram of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) entering the Great Barrier Reef.
There is significant potential for many more nature-positive projects through the broader adoption of biofertilisers and biostimulants across a range of crops and geographies, adapting and applying the DIN method in alignment with emerging global nature repair markets.

Our expertise covers all aspects of project feasibility, implementation, construction, and operations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to sustainability.
